Honda has made a donation of $100,000 to the Canadian Red Cross for their efforts supporting the Spring Flood Appeal. Quebec was damaged by strong floodwaters and these funds will help with support for flood victims, registration and family reunification, emotional well-being support, food, first aid and lodging, along with cots and blankets. This kind of support is fully backed by Formula Honda of Toronto as we are always up for helping fellow Canadians.

Dave Jamieson, Chairman of the Honda Canada Foundation said, “Honda’s intention is to support the many individuals and families devastated by the recent floods in Quebec, as supporting Canadians in times of need is a key pillar of the Foundation’s mission.” He then adds, “As we have responded to past natural disasters at home and abroad, supporting the Canadian Red Cross is an effective way to quickly help those affected. Honda encourages all Canadians to donate to the Canadian Red Cross at this time in order to assist the most vulnerable citizens affected by this severe situation.”

The Honda Canada Foundation is no stranger to giving back to the communities. They have been involved with local organizations such as Earth Rangers, Rich Hansen Foundation, CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish and Make-A-Wish Canada.

These sorts of actions are for the betterment of our community and our Toronto Honda staff is proud to represent Honda in this manner.
