Honda is always on top of producing the safest cars on the market. It is no different with Honda Sensing features that are available on the new Honda Civic models. #FormulaHonda of Toronto invites you to visit us to check out these great features that could be all yours.

Lane Departure Warning (LDW)

LDW is designed to help detect unindicated lane departures from detected lanes. Alerts begin to flash and sound to let you know that you need to correct the lane drift.

Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)

LKAS helps reduce driver fatigue by keeping you in the middle of your lane. If you start to leave the center of a detected lane without signaling, the steering wheel adjusts to keep you centered.

Road Departure Mitigation (RDM)

If you are in a situation where your vehicle begins to drift too close to the side of the detected roadway while driving 45-90 mph without a turn signal, RDM alerts the driver with quick vibrations on the steering wheel. If you continue to leave the road, it can also apply steering torque and braking to help keep your vehicle in the right lane.

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)

ACC helps you maintain a set following interval with the vehicle in front of you so that you don’t have to manually change your speed.

Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)

This system uses a millimeter wave radar sensor to detect an unavoidable collision in front of you. It can bring your vehicle to a stop when it detects such an emergency circumstance like that.

Forward Collision Warning (FCW)

FCW combines with CMBS using a small camera on top of the vehicle to detect the presence of vehicles in front of you. FCW can determine danger by the range of a vehicle in front of you and can activate audio and visual alerts to warn you. CMBS can also automatically apply brake pressure.

All of these fantastic Honda Sensing features could be all yours in the new Honda Civic. Honda Sensing is also available in the Honda Accord, Accord Hybrid, CR-V, Pilot and Ridgeline.
