With the warm weather soon to come, your beer consumption is bound to rise. Thankfully with beer season around the corner, Toronto has you covered with some of the best breweries in the world.

Folly Brewpub
Folly’s describes themselves as “Belgian-ish”, meaning yeast-driven fruity or funky flavours that combine with hops for a tasty balance. Owned by Christina Coady and Chris Conway, they focus on making beer in-house with teamwork and prior experience. Favourites include their selection of farmhouse saisons, or Inkhorn, one of Toronto’s only sour bruins.

Bellwoods Brewery

Dubbed as a “must visit” by our staff, Bellwoods’ selection ranges from everyday sessionable pale ales to high-octane and barrel-aged imperial stouts. named this brewery the third best in the world(!) in 2012 and they have not settled since. Prepare to fight for a spot on their front patio that seems to always be full on warm afternoons.

Left Field Brewery

Beer and baseball go together like peanut butter and jelly in Toronto. Left Field offers a mix of mainly pale ales (including a single-hop series for the bitter fans out there) and more adventurous choices like the kettle-soured Squeeze Play. Be sure to check this brewery out during a Blue Jays game for the best experience possible.

Granite Brewery

One of the original British-leaning and family-run brewpubs for the past 25 years, this gem has made its mark in Toronto. They brew on a Ringwood system, named for the English strain of yeast and uses open fermenting vessels and imparts a distinctive fruity style to their beers. This all comes to a head in the Best Bitter choice, a real favourite here.
