Accord Reviews From The Web:

edmunds.com says the 2016 Honda Civic is:

edmunds.com says:
So many great things about this car – the seats are SO comfortable, the exterior of the car is beautiful, and I have no complaints about the performance.”

Kelley Blue Book: Honda’s 2016 Accord sedan and coupe offer exceptional value, yet they don’t ask buyers to sacrifice in the areas of styling, features or performance. With the Accord, be it the sporty coupe or sub-$24,000 LX, buyers get more than just features, comfort and value. They get peace of mind.

The 2016 Honda Accord and the 2016 Nissan Altima are both great vehicles in their respective categories. They’re two of the most spacious and technologically advanced sedans in their class. Both models have sophisticated interior and exterior, and a wide variety of available features. But if you’re considering the 2016 Honda Accord or a 2016 Nissan Altima, you probably know that already. So, let’s get into the specifics.

Horsepower & Fuel Economy

Both the Accord the Altima sport a 4-cylinder engine. The Accord’s engine gives 185 horsepower to your wheels, compared to the Altima’s slightly slower 182 hp. The Accord’s engine also comes out ahead on fuel efficiency in city driving earning 8.6 L/100Km.

Storage & Cargo Space

When it comes to space, both sedans have lots of it. The Accord has abundant legroom and is a very roomy ride, especially for taller passengers. The back seat of the Accord has a whopping 38.5 inches of leg room. The Altima falls behind in the backseat as it only has 36.1 inches of legroom. You can pack a lot into both vehicles, but the Accord does surpass the Altima more cubic feet of cargo space. Lucky for you, Honda upgraded the amount of storage space in the Accord this year. Two storage bins have been added above the gearshift on all 2016 models. The Altima does have a deeper centre console, but no extra storage bins.

Technology & Safety Features
Technology & Safety Features

Finally, the Accord comes equipped with top of the line technology such as Honda’s Display Audio System, Apple CarPlay and Andriod Auto. This is all displayed on a large 7.7-inch multi-information screen. The Altima mirrors similar technology, but has a slightly smaller screen and does not come dressed with Apple CarPlay and Andriod Auto. The Accord also has a (bilingual) Voice Activated Audio Control system in which the Altima does not.

When it comes to safety features, both models have their own safety sensing technologies. Honda has its own Sensing Technologies Suite and coincidentally Nissan recently expanded their Safety Shield Technologies to include Predictive Forward Collision Warning, radar-based Blind Spot Warning, Forward Emergency Braking, Intelligent Cruise Control, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert – all of which Honda has their own version of by the way. Both brands have their bonuses, but generally offer very similar packages when it comes to their safety technologies.

The 2016 Honda Accord is the leading midsize sedan!
